The HERMetic DIP Type 2 GT is a specialized instrument designed to verify that the bottom of closed and inerted tanks remains dry and free of deposits after crude oil washing. It includes a graduated brass or stainless steel weight and a graduated stainless steel tape wound on a reel, featuring an adapter for HERMetic valve connection. Operating in closed conditions, it prevents vapor escape into the atmosphere. Additionally, it allows for estimating the distance between the tank bottom and the zero reference level. The tape is marked with both metric and inch scales and meets class II accuracy standards.
